As Founder and CEO of SRE Engineering, Sarah Marandi, P.E., ENV SP, LEED AP BD+C, leads the firm’s construction management operations with a sharp focus on complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure and real estate development projects across New York City. A licensed Professional Engineer and seasoned project leader, she brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience managing capital programs for clients including NYCDDC, NYCDEP, and NYCEDC. Mrs. Marandi has worked on some of the city’s most technical projects, from deep pile installations and storm sewer systems to large-scale green infrastructure and joint-bid utility coordination. Her leadership ensures quality control, regulatory compliance, and seamless team execution—positioning SRE Engineering as a trusted M/WBE partner for high-impact public works.
Mr. Reza Marandi, P.E., CCM, ENV SP, brings over 40 years of experience leading some of New York City’s most complex and high-stakes infrastructure projects, with a lifetime portfolio exceeding $2 billion in capital work. Well known across NYC’s infrastructure agencies, Mr. Marandi has managed individual projects up to $500 million, including heavy civil infrastructure such as deep trunk water mains, microtunneling operations, deep pile foundations for storm and sanitary sewers, high-level storm sewer systems, and major utility relocations—alongside large-scale real estate developments like a $65M multi-use complex. His command of construction challenges, especially within dense urban environments, has made him a go-to expert for mission-critical improvements citywide.
Esperanza Arias-Marandi brings over 15 years of leadership in complex infrastructure and construction management throughout New York City. As co-founder of SRE Engineering and founder/CEO of NYPS—a certified M/WBE, SBE, and DBE consulting firm—she has delivered multimillion-dollar public works projects for agencies like NYCDDC, DEP, and the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery. Esperanza’s experience spans all five boroughs and includes oversight of water and trunk main installations, sewers, roads, highways, pedestrian ramps, and sidewalks. Her strong management skills and deep understanding of city agency processes have made her a respected presence and trusted partner across the industry.
