1. Introduction

SRE Engineering, D.P.C. (“SRE,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, sreengineering.com (the “Site”), how we use it and the choices you have.

This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover information we receive through our construction management and engineering contracts, which is governed by those agreements, or websites run by others that we link to.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the topic you select (“I’m reaching out about”) and your message. Only the fields you choose to fill in are sent. If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you include.

Job applications. Our job listings link to postings hosted by CareerPlug. Applications you submit there are collected by CareerPlug on our behalf and are subject to CareerPlug’s own privacy policy. If you email your resume to info@sreengineering.com, we receive the resume and anything else you include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its hosting provider may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, the referring page and an approximate location based on your IP address.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as government ID numbers or financial account details, through the Site. Please don’t include it in form messages.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and follow up about projects, teaming or careers

• Evaluate and communicate about employment opportunities

• Operate, maintain and improve the Site

• Protect the Site against spam, fraud and misuse

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that host the Site, deliver form submissions and email, and support recruiting (Framer, which hosts the Site and delivers contact form submissions; CareerPlug, for job applications; and our email provider). They may use the information only to provide services to us.

• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of SRE, our clients or others.

• Business transfers, if SRE is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work and to measure overall traffic in aggregate. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site links to services we don’t control, including CareerPlug job postings and LinkedIn. When you follow those links, the other site’s privacy policy applies, and we are not responsible for its practices.

7. Data retention and security

We keep inquiry and resume information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. We generally keep inquiries for up to three years and resumes for up to two years, unless you join SRE.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you

• Correct information that is inaccurate

• Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or business reasons

• Stop contacting you

To make a request, email info@sreengineering.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them as required.

9. Children, changes and contact

Children’s privacy. The Site is intended for businesses and job seekers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
