+ PROJECT OVERVIEW

70 Mulberry Street, originally built as Public School 23, is a civic and cultural building in Manhattan's Chinatown that housed the Museum of Chinese in America and several community nonprofits until a fire severely damaged it. Under CM-Build delivery, the building is being reconstructed as an approximately 50,000-square-foot cultural and community hub, with restoration of its historic facade and corner stair tower and new MEP and fire protection systems.

SRE provides community outreach and quality assurance and quality control services, keeping residents, local businesses, and returning tenants informed throughout construction and supporting the project's quality program through field inspection and documentation.
