+ PROJECT OVERVIEW

This multi-agency project modernized water and sewer infrastructure along Manhattan's West Side from West 30th Street to West 14th Street to support the growth of the Hudson Yards district. The work included more than 11,000 linear feet of 20-inch to 48-inch water mains, sewer upgrades, catch basins, hydrants, and ADA-compliant sidewalk and roadway restoration, along with a 90-inch concrete sewer section installed by pipe jacking with a tunnel boring machine.

SRE provided project executive and construction management services in addition to construction inspection and community outreach across Community Board 4. SRE's scope included daily field reporting, utility coordination with multiple city agencies, enforcement of the Work Zone Traffic Control Plan, and oversight of the trenchless work in a dense, heavily trafficked corridor.
