About the Project

As Westchester faces a growing affordable housing crisis, this development responds directly to the region’s urgent need for permanent, service-enriched housing. The project will deliver high-quality, sustainable units for mixed-income and commercial units.

SRE’s in-house team is leading entitlement coordination, site planning, full civil engineering design, and construction management support. Scope includes site grading, stormwater and utility design, code compliance reviews, regulatory permitting, and infrastructure coordination with local and state agencies. This project reflects SRE’s commitment to delivering thoughtful, technically sound housing solutions that support long-term community resilience.

Project Execution

  • This $65M, 100-unit supportive housing development is currently in the pre-construction phase, with SRE serving as co-developer and engineer of record. The project reflects our ability to manage complex, city-regulated work — from entitlement and permitting to utility coordination and stakeholder alignment — in collaboration with public agencies and design teams.

  • SRE is responsible for site planning, zoning, code compliance, and infrastructure design while coordinating closely with municipal authorities. These are the same skill sets required for DEP, DDC, and EDC-led infrastructure projects.
  • The project’s high-visibility and community-sensitive location underscores our experience operating in regulated urban environments with strict public oversight and multi-agency review.
